Chic Spotlight: Joe Marando

As law students, we have the pleasure of being surrounded by intelligent, hard-working individuals. Once in a while, however, one of our peers does something so amazing that we cannot help but talk about it 24/7. And, now that we are lucky enough to have Unprecedentedly Chic as a platform, we can share it with you!

Joe Marando volunteered for Fair Change Community Services during his first year at Osgoode Hall Law School. which is “a group of law students and lawyers who help people fight their street tickets for free”.

Joe currently works for this wonderful and much-needed organization, and has recently published his first article regarding the Fair Change challenge to the Safe Streets Act.

Our description of Joe’s article will not do his piece justice, so please access it on The Homeless Hub.

Thank you for paving the way to leadership, Joe! We are incredibly proud of you.
