EcoChic is now official

We have been very vocal about the importance of ethical production and sustainability in fashion. We are not the only ones who value this, however. As the fashion industry continues to mature, consumers and designers are understanding that what goes on behind the scenes can make or break a label.

This notion is exactly the philosophy of the EcoChic Design Award, the international sustainable fashion design competition organised by Redress that encourages and inspires emerging fashion designers and students to push the boundaries.

The competition recently announced its 10 finalists. Each one of these designers will be creating a “six-piece sustainable collection over the next three months for the grand final during Hong Kong Fashion Week in September 2017.” So, we will be sure to update you once the final results are in.

For now, below are some of the rising designers who have already made significant contributions and are the ones to watch. EcoChic is now official and we don’t want you to be out of the loop!
