No Time for the Gym? No Worries!

Scheduling time for the gym is the thing we all try to avoid, even though we know we gotta eventually do it. As much of a pain as it is to pencil in time for exercise, we end up feeling soooo much better once we gather the energy to go.

Everyone has different preferences when it comes to exercising. Some (like us at Unprecedently Chic), find that physically going to a gym is the best method. Others, however, enjoy exercising within the comfort of their own homes, which may be equally effective!

Obviously, if you have some equipment at home, it’s a great idea to take advantage of that. But, there are still very effective exercises that you can practice at home that don’t require the use of any equipment.

  1. SQUATS: This exercise is often given mixed reviews. Some love it. Others absolutely despise it. Targeting the thighs, hips, (butt), and quads, this exercise can be paired with a pair of weights for additional benefits. With or without weights, however, this exercise is great for toning and sculpting the lower body.
  2. LEG LIFTS: This exercise is actually meant to strengthen abdominal muscles! Although it tends to be regarded as a very difficult exercise, you can definitely feel the results in your core while doing the exercise and even the following day!
  3. CALF RISES: This exercise targets the lower half of the leg. It is great for sculpting calf muscles and is an extremely simple exercise. However, cramping is likely to arise as the exercise progresses. In this case, the best thing to do is take a break and stretch those calve muscles!

There are many other exercises which can easily be done in your home, without required equipment or a visit to your local gym. Everyone has different preferences and should try out different exercises to find the routine that is best for them!
