Starbucks’ Unicorn Frap Causing More Than Just Cavities

Unicorns may not be real, but this lawsuit sure is.

A coffee shop in Brooklyn, The End, is claiming that Starbucks’ new Unicorn drinks are a rip off of their Unicorn latte. The two drinks are made of entirely different ingredients, but the local coffee shop claims that there is now confusion between their drink and Starbucks’ newest limited edition drink.

The End agues that there is intellectual property infringement, and demands compensation for the damages incurred, a percentage of Starbucks’ profits from the Unicorn drinks, alongside a written statement from Starbucks stating that the unicorn-themed drink is The End‘s innovation.

Reality is, there are multiple “unicorn drinks” sold in stores all around North America. Do you think The End is justified in their claims?

Just when you thought the unicorn-phase was over…

Information gathered from The Business Insider.
